Event Details
Date: Saturday 17 October
Location: Mornington Peninsula
Distances: 5km walk | 10km run
All fitness levels welcome
Event Locations & Start Times
10km Start: Safety Beach Yacht Club at 8:30am
5km Start: Anthony’s Nose Boat Ramp at 9:15am
Finish Line: Village Green, Rosebud for a community finish

Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome, women, men, families, and friends. This is a chance to come together and show up for a cause that affects so many.
Kids under 16 walk free, so bring the pram, the scooter, and even your four-legged companions (on leads, of course).
The course is flat, scenic, and fully accessible, perfect for all ages, all abilities, and every pace.

10km: $65
Kids under 16 are free
Early bird applies until 10th May and is automatically applied at checkout.

Yes – Whether you're walking, running, pushing a pram, or strolling with a coffee in hand, this event is all about showing up for a good cause.
The event is intentionally not timed
To ensure it is inclusive for those currently in treatment or recovery. But if you're aiming for a personal best, we say go for it! Just bring your own watch or app to track your time.

We encourage you to wear supportive and comfortable clothing & shoes suited for the event.

You can pre-purchase Breast Foot Forward merchandise, whether it’s a hat, beanie, or t-shirt, we’d love to see you rocking our gear.
All profits from merchandise sales go directly back into care, so you’re shopping for a great cause.
Limited stock will be available on the day, so we recommend pre-ordering to avoid missing out.

We do not allow for on the day registrations.

Yes, there will be a water station at the Rosebud and McCrae Lifesaving club (just after the 5km mark)
There will also be refreshments at the finish line.
The event will have course marshals the entire length of the track for support and first aid.

Yes, photography will be taking place during the event. We make every effort to avoid capturing images of children without parent or guardian consent.
If you prefer not to be photographed, you can notify our photographer on the day. Alternatively, you’re welcome to contact us afterward, and we will ensure any images featuring you are removed from our records.

Street parking is available at both start lines (5KM & 10 KM)
A free shuttle bus will run before the event from the finish line to both start locations, making it easy to park once and get where you need to be.
We encourage carpooling and utilising the shuttle to reduce congestion on the day.
A parking-specific email with full details will be sent to all registered participants closer to the day.

Yes! Our event is pet friendly in line with local council guidelines. We love seeing your four-legged companions out on the course!
We just ask that all pets are kept on a leash at all times and that owners are mindful of others along the way, including cleaning up after their pet.
Please note, pets are not permitted at the post-event celebrations.

Yes ! We’d love for you to join us afterwards for a relaxed post-event celebration. Follow our insta for updates regarding the location & venue.
This is a chance to come together, unwind, and connect as a community after the walk/run; with a celebratory drink, great conversation, and a raffle with plenty of prizes up for grabs.

We are currently registered as an organisation and operate on a not-for-profit basis, with the intention of obtaining official NFP status in the near future.
All profits, after covering event costs, will be returned to the community. This includes providing locally sourced care hampers to chemotherapy wards, as well as supporting initiatives such as wellness classes and direct patient support.
Please note that, at this stage, tickets are not tax-deductible.
